Monsters University, the prequel to Monsters Inc. from Pixar and Disney Pictures, leads you to the young age of Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan (voiced by Billy Crystal and John Goodman, like in the original film), the two fun protagonists of that film, during their apprenticeship as "frighteners" at the "Monsters University".
A prestigious educational institution where the monsters of the future learn, and from where the best "frightening" in Monsters University come from ... but that just isn't the best place for our friends. And so, as in their first term in Monsters University, and because of their competitive spirit, Mike and Sully will eventually be expelled from the prestigious Scares program at Monsters University ... although that will eventually unite them forever.
